    This museum model represents a bold and futuristic design of the Museum of the future in Dubai, which was designed by Killa Design, and aims to stimulate UAE’s innovation and invention at the first place as it will set up a platform for innovative ideas exchange and discovery among high-tech talents and companies all over the world.

    In order to demonstrate the smooth eye-catching building shape and the remarkable façade, RJ Models cooperated with 3DR Models mainly used high-performance Plexiglas to fabricate the superstructure in an accurate manner, and the outcome looks extremely stunning.

    As this museum model was intended for public display, both internal and external lighting and entourage elements like figures and vegetations were added to put the ensemble into perspective, and to highlight the unique and bold architectural design at the same time by our model makers in Dubai.

    The final museum model is a dynamic and dazzling blend of modern architecture and contemporary art since it provides the viewers with a physical and virtual experience of visiting this future tourist destination.

    KAFD Conference Center Model

    Scale:1:100 | Size: 2000mm x 1600mm | Production Time: 30 Days

    Designed by world-famous architectural design firm-SOM and will be served as the primary conference facility of the city, KAFD Conference Center was planned to be built as iconic terminus structures in the under-development King Abdullah Financial District, Saudi Arabia, and this museum model was actually commissioned to depict this groundbreaking architectural project.

    Built on 1:100 scale, this “exoskeleton” building was mainly made up of acrylic and Plexiglas, and our architectural model makers in KSA installed a polychromatic lighting system inside the museum model to further emphasize the façade details texture of the building clearly.

    This museum model showcases the extremely complicated building façade built mainly using 3D printing technology, and for the purpose to allow the viewers to experience the emotional design of the building, RJ Models fabricated this museum model in full detail with equipping feature interior lights.

    Considering this project would first incorporate the indigenous desert plants into a public space, a few prudentially selected miniature vegetations were added, and the final museum model was delivered to the client with a customized protection case to protect it from accidental damage and dust accumulation.

    Dalian International Conference Center Model in China

    Scale:1:300 | Size: 1400mm x 1500mm | Production Time: 21 Days

    Dalian International Conference center was planned to be one of the most recognizable infrastructures that merge the port city characters and modern architectural design and commissioned by the world top architectural design company-SOM.

    RJ Models completed this museum model as a conceptual replica of this spatially multifaceted structure.

    Both traditional and high-tech model making techniques were used to sculpt the striking building shape, and then the semi-finished museum model was metallic painted to illustrate the aluminum shell curved façade.

    To emphasize the uniqueness of ‘the table and the roof’ building design, which was inspired by a sandwich structure, RJ Models installed color-changing internal LED lights lit from inside to create different effects.

    Thanks to the team of the model makers of RJ Models’ great efforts and persistence, the final museum model was shipped to the client timely.

    The museum model in China was used for design competition as it perfectly represents SOM’s creative and bold design idea that the architects have in mind.

    Library Carre D'Art Du Nimes

    Scale:1:100 | Size: 1900mm x 1300mm | Production Time: 21 Days

    Influenced by the Roman temple situated nearby, the design of this 9-story Carre D'Art Du Nimes integrates the ancient architecture into the contemporary building design, and this museum model provides a life-like expression of this modern but classically inspired structure.

    Considering the transparency is the main feature of the building design, this 1:100 scale museum model was mainly fabricated using clear plastic and acrylic, and in order to simulate how the museum would look like in the exact location, surrounding buildings were also manufactured with a certain level of detail, exactly like they are in reality.

    Our architectural model makers in France used laser cutting and engraving technology to fabricate most precise details of the building façade, and entourage elements like model vehicles and miniature plants were also added, together with installed warm LED lights, this museum model provides the viewers a classic and elegant feel and creates a quaint ambiance of the site as well.

    This delicately and meticulously museum model was supplied with a made-to-order flight case since it would be shipped overseas for an exhibition once completed.

    Xiqu Centre Model in Hong Kong by Bing Thom Architects & Ronald Lu

    Scale:1: 350 | Size: 1230mm X 830mm X 590mm | Production Time: 2 Weeks

    This museum model represents an iconic structure designed by world-famous company Bing Thom Architects and Ronald Lu, and this important art and cultural structure contain several separate galleries, with sophisticated supporting facilities, and it is one of the representative arts and cultural venues planned to be located in the West Kowloon Cultural District.

    The most eye-catching feature of this museum model is its unique building shape, which was inspired by the Chinese ‘Qi’ concept, and it was lighted up by luminous orange lights.

    RJ Modelers used frosted model making materials to create the building façade of this museum model, to allow visitors see parts of the interior designs, and this striking model took RJ model makers one month to complete.

    The final 1230mm X 830mm X 590mm size museum model was first used for in the design competition, and it also won applause from the public in the later exhibition.

    Opera House Model

    This museum model of the Opera Huse Overall Museum represents the overall version of the Opera House Overall Museum design, which is a rare combination of grid structure podium and inserted the main building.

    In order to demonstrate the unique treatment of the building elevation, RJ Models sourced and selected different types of high-quality wood and acrylic to make the unique façade, and this museum model was spray-painted with the realistic color to make sure the final product would fully match the original design.

    Other details include lush landscaping, footbridge, surrounding buildings, along with on-highway vehicles and people for scale, and this museum model is internally lit to imitate different scenarios and provide further realism.

    The final museum model fully captures the spirit of the unique architectural design as it shows plenty of details of the building, and the viewers are able to visualize this unprecedented feat of design only by looking at the model for a short time.

    Yinchuan Museum Model by WAA

    Scale:1:300 | Size: 1200mm x 1100mm | Production Time: 21 Days

    RJ Models accomplish this museum model as a vivid reflection of the new proposed 4-storey Yin Chuan Museum, which would be constructed on the outskirts of the city, along with the western banks of the Yellow River, and would act as a contemporary art museum for both Chinese and Islamic arts.

    The chosen monochrome white color for the museum model makes it look concisely and straightforward, and therefore creates an ideal view of the structure’s unique ribbon-like shape, which was inspired by the local nature landform and geological activities.

    For the purpose to emphasize the sophisticated double curved surface building design and give the structure its identity, the surrounding environments and other detailed elements like model people or vehicles were not included in this museum model.

    With a scale of 1:300, this completed museum model was primarily used for design competition bidding because it provides the viewers a thorough and visualized vision of the building design, and it also helps to inspire the public to dream about the possibilities.

    Taipei Performing Art Centre Model in Taiwan by OMA in 1:50

    Scale:1:50 | Size: 2000mm x 1500mm | Production Time: 30 Days

    According to the clients’ instructions, architectural model making company, RJ Models made this 1:50 scale sectional museum model to provide a visual understanding of the spherical structure of the Tai Pei Performing Art Centre Museum, designed by leading architectural firm OMA, this museum features three individual theatres that plugged into a transparent central cube.

    What makes this museum model become a masterpiece is its high level of detail, which were fabricated mainly using laser cutting and engraving, and 3D printing equipment that produce extremely accurate architectural model components, therefore, almost every detail inside the building were revealed vividly to leave an impressive impression to the public.

    Considering the main purpose of this museum model was to illustrate the unparalleled architectural structure and the interior design of the 1,500-seat super theatre, numbers of figures, together with dramatic lighting were added to this museum model to enable the viewers to experience theatre production more lively.

    The feedback of the final museum model was more than good as it attracted an increasing number of visitors and boosted the audiences’ interest in the arts and culture.

    Taipei Performing Art Centre Model in Taiwan by OMA in 1:100

    Scale:1:100 | Size: 1500mm x 1400mm | Production Time: 30 Days

    Before making this 1:100 scale museum model, RJ Models has completed another high-detailed large scale sectional scale model for this Tai Pei Performing Art Centre Museum project to explain its spherical structure, and this model was commissioned to express the design of three cubes at the first place.

    The overall theatre complex is slightly asymmetrical and controlled by a mobile device; this interactive museum model could be separated in the middle of the central cube to provide the views of the interior space, and therefore demonstrates how the other two 800-seat protruding theaters would be incorporated in the central structure.

    To highlight the cube structure that lifted from the ground and the outstanding internal features of the design, miniature trees surrounded and other minor details inside like spectator watching the play were added prudentially to make this museum model look as realistic as possible.

    The finished museum model looks super exciting and spectacular as it creates an inspirational feeling, and the viewers can vividly envision how the real museum building will look like after completion.

    Taipei Performing Art Centre Model in Taiwan by OMA in 1:100

    Scale:1:100 | Size: 1500mm x 1400mm | Production Time: 30 Days

    After has repeated studied OMA Partners’ ingenious architects Rem Koolhaas and David Gianotten‘s design, who were in charge of the design of this Taipei Performing Art Center Museum, RJ Models built this museum model to simply reflect the original design concept, which is to construct a ‘machine for the everything to take place’.

    This museum model was machine cut and hand finished to create a metallic building appearance, together with painted road pavements and pre-made miniature plants, this model provides the viewers a big picture of the overall architectural design.

    Bright indoor LED lighting was equipped to accentuate the museum simple yet unique building form and minute interior details, and most model components of this museum model were fabricated using CNC Router and Laser cutting technology.

    Only by staring at this museum model for a short time, the viewers would get the sensation of actually spending time within the theater themselves, and more important, it promotes a comprehensive understanding of the museum design among the clients and the public.

    Taipei Performing Art Centre Museum Model in Taiwan by OMA in 1:300

    Scale:1:300 | Size: 1600mm x 1600mm | Production Time: 21 Days

    OMA secured the architectural design competition for Taipei Performing Arts Center, with a museum model that showcases the building's unique geometry and its integration with the environment.

    The model, built at a 1:300 scale, is smaller than RJ Models' previous projects and features a central cube made of Plexiglas, with other structures constructed from acrylic and MDF. All in monochromatic grey to highlight the proposed museum.

    This model served as an effective tool for architects to discuss street-level planning and was later used for project presentations.

    Museum Model, Urban Planning Museum in China

    Scale:1:500 | Size: 1500mm x 1200mm | Production Time: 30 Days

    RJ Models crafted the museum model to visually convey the concept of the proposed Urban Planning Museum, envisioned by 10 Design as a modern civic landmark. Funded by Dalian Planning Bureau, this museum will host exhibitions for the public.

    RJ Models paid special attention of the architectural model building to the building shape and appearance, and with a 1:50 scale.

    This museum model was fabricated mainly from high-performance acrylic, and a few well-chosen miniature green trees were also included to add vitality to the model.

    As a tool for soliciting feedback from the authorities and the public. The museum model effectively communicates the project's potential benefits and impacts on the local community.
